Jared is a experienced veterinary nurse with a diverse background in small animal general practice, emergency and large animal medicine. He never gets tired of learning and is always looking for ways to make our patients more comfortable while in hospital with us.
Bio:
Jared grew up in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane with a natural affinity for animals, he always knew that he was going to end up caring for them in the veterinary industry.
He began his nursing career in 2011 after completing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology at University of Queensland. He then left for a 2 year stint exploring the UK and working in Small Animal general practice.
When he returned to Australia, he spent 6 years working in a Specialist Equine Hospital/Mixed Animal Practice in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane.
He has since seen the light and moved to the gorgeous Redcliffe Peninsula and is loving life back in Small Animal general practice. Jared has a keen interest in all surgical cases, puppy behaviour and development. He is passionate and committed to providing the best possible care to all his patients like they were his own.
Jared runs our Puppy Preschool classes and has been doing so for over 10 years. He thoroughly enjoys forming strong bonds with your puppies right from their very first visit.
Away from the clinic, Jared loves all things music and sport. He is an avid football fan and continues to play competitively on the weekends. Jared currently does not have any animals of his own but fortunately that leaves him more love to give all our patients.
